The remote PTT SR3S is allocated in a single rack unit and is powered either by mains voltage or a dc voltage from 10 to 55V. You can then feed the system with backup power supplies ensuring operation even in the absence of voltage, detecting the presence of the same is done internally without the need for additional external links.
The main feature of this apparatus is to be able to connect remotely as well as the telemetry session, for its management, as well as other devices connected to the three serial ports, all with a single remote serial connection, allowing switching from one device to other in real time with the possibility of bidirectional connections. The serial ports can be configured in transparent mode or with dedicated communication protocols, greatly extending the connectivity of this product to many of the major RF hardware from leading manufacturers.
On the back of the unit are present the input and output connectors, which allow you to connect the devices to be monitored. Telemetry performs its function automatically and continuously in remote monitoring: when one or more digital signals are activated, the alarm messages are sent to the numbers set.
In addition to this automatic operating mode, at any time you can connect to the system, to capture real-time status of analog and digital inputs, switch digital outputs and select the serial port you want.
The configuration parameters of the telemetry can be configured locally or remotely over the link, thus avoiding to travel there to make such changes as phone number, timing, enabling alarms etc.
